18 years ago, a little girl named Kittie Lynne was born in northern California. Around the age of twelve or thirteen Kittie had to start taking care of herself, so she started doing all the things she wanted to. Somewhere along the way she found electronic music, and adopted it as her passion. Driven by music and the love of her friends Kittie began to travel all over California and Nevada meeting musicians and learning about music everywhere she went. Animal lover, party kid, and free spirit, this girl always knew she was going somewhere…yet she wasn’t quite sure where. At the young age of 13, she started going to raves, and in two short years she had developed an ear for the music and a love for the scene. Some of her early biggest inspirations were DJ G.A.M.M.A., Eric Barlow, and close friend Carlos(DJ House Junkie). The positive emotions and love these DJ’s projected toward the crowd pushed her to move forward. She decided that she wanted to be the one delivering that great experience to the crowd as they did for her. After meeting and studying other DJs in the scene Kittie began to pick up mixing and adapted a style all of her own. She played her first show at the age of 15 at a bar in Sacramento. Ever since then, she has been tearing it up around the Northern Nevada and California area almost every weekend. Now, at only 18, this tiny girl projects an enthusiasm and infectious smile that matches her hard hitting, “phat” track selection. Her success has just begun, and for a long time to come, it will remain in the scene for the music lovers. She favors electro and funky house, yet her music is always spontaneous, random, and genuine. She gets the crowd moving in an unprecedented way. Kittie not only brings her success and energy to her friends and fans as a DJ, but as a promoter, go-go dancer, and solid figure in the scene.
